I upgraded to Microsfot IE 7 today. I have the brand new Yahoo Toolbar where among many other icons, there is a grey shield-shaped icon. My desktop’s Yahoo Toolbar has Norton’s Spyware Scan button and I am not using any Norton/Symantec products. My question above relates to my new notebook computer’s Yahoo Toolbar. I clicked on Update, but it still does not appear. Is this something that Yahoo does not offer anymore?
I saw an answer to a question a few minutes ago in which the author (D A) stated that the Yahoo Toolbar was packed with spyware and when he/she removed it from his/her computer, it seemed to run much better. I just wondered if anyone knows how true his statement was?
